In the ongoing complex of socio-economic and political reforms it appears to be significant to identify problems and follow-up study of development prospects of forms of direct democracy in a system of local self-government in the Russian Federation. Forms of direct declaration of will contribute to the direct exercise of power by municipality population and represent a significant element in local government system.
